JYC - December 5th

As you may have realised if you've seen my previous JYC posts, my JYC album is a bit of a mash up of a December daily and JYC, and I go back to JYC prompts that I've missed because of recording other Christmas events when I've got spare days to do them.  One of the prompts I've missed was about cards so I'm covering that today...

Christmas Cards

This is the first year that I've had two sets of cards to order, as both Charlie and Owen are at school now.  Owen's is on the left and is the classic Year R fingerprints and potato prints - I've only ordered one set of these to go to special family and friends.  Charlie's Year 2 effort involved the very cute penguin and is definitely the best artwork I've seen him do. I ordered 3 sets of those and they'll be going to everyone else! In addition we have also written about 70 small boxed cards to Charlie and Owen's school friends, which was a whole weekend effort that eventually got finished when I said it had to be done before we put the Christmas tree up! Overall I think we will send about 200 cards this year, which is definitely a record for our family.

  1. Wow. 200 cards is a massive effort. I'm struggling with 70 between family and school friends. I love the penguin.
