JYC December 24th

Christmas Eve

A relaxing day of final preparations - we finished off our ham and iced the cake - before a flurry of excitement which got underway when we headed up to our church  for the nativity service.  Last year the boys were not keen on joining in but this year they couldn't wait and both choose to be kings.

When we got home it was time to say goodbye to the elves that have been with us since the 1st December - the boys were sad to do this but cheered up after their bath when they found some presents the elves had left behind - new sets of pajamas, slippers and a new Christmas book each.

After hanging their stockings up and leaving out a mince pie, carrot and glass of baileys for Santa the boys quickly went off to sleep leaving us to make the final preparations.

We added chocolates and candy canes to the tree, put out our Christmas loo paper(!)  and wrapped our present to the boys, which took up half the lounge... Then Santa came and left the rest of the presents...
