The prompt for day 8 was all about playing with some photos and trying some new techniques, I loved this prompt and had a couple of attempts. This first one shows a crocodile that the boys and I made from old cardboard boxes today - Owen had been wanting to do this for ages. I added some rub-ons and lots of stickers, which is quite close to my usual style. There is a 'remember this' rub-on on the green strip of paper that you can barely see, but I like knowing it's there.
And this was my other attempt which I love. Lots of new things here - I stamped 'Boy' on, and used a quote (which I never do) - it says 'A boy is truth with dirt on its face, beauty with a cut on its finger and the hope of the future with a frog in its pocket' - suits Charlie so well. I have painted borders before but not for ages (probably for a different shimelle class actually) and I think the whole page comes together really well.
